Lighting Up the Darkness
with Rabbi Judith Beiner

Kislev arrives in November and December, the coldest and darkest months of the year. Together with many cultures around the world we celebrate our winter solstice festival, Hanukkah. Together we will ‘light up the dark’ with teachings and stories of those who bring their light to the world.

Rabbi Judith Beiner is the Community Chaplain at JF&CS. Her responsibilities include visitations at area hospitals, hospices, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. She has a Rabbinic Ordination and Masters in Hebrew Letters from the Hebrew Union College in New York City. She holds a Master of Arts in Education from the American Jewish University in Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan
