Barbara joined MACoM in March of 2016. She brings many years of marketing and development experience to the organization. At the Arthritis Foundation, she served at the CMO; the organization’s expert on marketing, branding, advertising and public relations. She helped to build the brand and awareness level at Boys & Girls Clubs of America as VP of Cause Marketing & Development. Her experience with mikvah was limited, however, she now appreciates that MACoM offers a fresh take on what an innovative ritual bath can do to drive vitality to Judaism.
Facilities & Operations Coordinator
Susan joined MACoM in May, 2016 and handles the day-to-day operations of the mikvah. Unfamiliar with mikvah for most of her life, she enjoys maintaining this mikvah for our community and working to educate others about traditional and contemporary uses that make immersion relevant and beneficial to our modern-day lives. Prior to working at MACoM, Susan worked as a public librarian with the D.C. Public Library in Washington, D.C. Originally from Tennessee, she lives with her husband and two children and now happily calls Atlanta “home.”
